2010 Planner

I finally finished my RVA 2010 planner. It was so much making it.

I made this little envelope for my future mini polaroids from the Fuji Instax that I plan on getting soon, although I think they might not fit in it. If not, I'll keep my stickers in it.

I made the bigger envelope for regular sized Polaroids.
Now I just need to make a cover for it.
In the meantime, I'm waiting for this in the mail:

Pretty Bows

I made these bows last night and I absolutely love 'em! They're up at my shop now and available for purchase.

Here's where I used my bow. You can get a bear hat from Vivianna.
Happy Tuesday!!

I Love the Flea...

Market, that is. I went to the one in my neck of the woods for the first time. I've been wanting to go to the one in Hollywood but I'm never in town when they have it.

I got a little ahead of myself when I got there and spent all my monies right away. Here are some things I wish I had room for.

And here are just a few interesting things I saw.

And here are some pretties I came home with...

I had to get the spoon and fork. My mom has a Minnie Mouse spoon from our childhood.

And these pretty Pyrex (thread not included)

I also found this beauty. Now I can make my own TTV images.

I got these two salt & pepper shakers.

And these vintage rings.

There was also a stand selling t-shirts. I got these two. I thought it was appropriate since my boyfriend works for Disney.

And I also went to buy fabric for the RVA tutorials. I'm going to make my owl out of the wool fabric at the bottom. I love Sundays!

Griffith Park Observatory

Sock went to see the Griffith Park Observatory today and he enjoyed it. He got to see stars, saw an informational movie and learned about planets. This place is definitely a must see for visitors. Have an excellent weekend!!!

Where the Wild Things Are

I seriously can't wait for this movie to come out. I have loved the book since I was a kid. I recently found a soft cover book at a local thrift store for a dollar. Awesome. This post is dedicated to all things "wild". I found some images on flickr that are pretty darn inspiring. Enjoy.

Hollywood

Sock went to see the Hollywood sign today. Even though he has lived in Los Angeles his whole life, he's never taken the time to see the local tourist spots. One of his goals is to see all of these spots.

Fall...Far Far Away.

This post is dedicated to the Fall season that is never going to come to Southern California. This weekend is going to be 100+ degrees! Why!? I finally tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks this week and it does taste like pumkin pie. So yummy. It's pretty ridiculous though, having a hot drink in summer weather. Anywho, here are some that make me happy about Fall:

Ha, speaking of coffee how 'bout a cozy to go with that Pumpkin Spice Latte?

And some soap to keep away that "swine flu" that's been going around.

I love this painting from darklingwoods

These are too cute.

Candy Corn Scarf!

And these mugs are perfect for that cup o' joe or tea. Very dainty;)

These bracelets are so pretty and very fall-like.

My etsy shop setup is taking longer than I anticipated. School has been keeping me very busy and what little time I have in between, I try to list things but I'm very slow at it. My goal was to have everything up by this time but I'll strive for the beginning of October.
So I'm starting a little project that I've been wanting to do for a while and now I have the chance to do it. I have a tiny sock monkey named "Sock" and I plan to take him everywhere with me and document his adventures. Yes, this was for a school assignment. I love my class. Here's a sneak peak.

Here's "Sock" doing his finance homework. Yuck!
Have a fun weekend!
