Camera Collects

Lately I have started a camera collection. I collect things and it only made sense that I collect cameras. There are a few that I've picked up at thrift stores and some from Ebay. These are the other cameras that I own. Some work and some don't.

I don't think they make film for this one anymore.
And I want one of these REAL bad:

Tis all for now. Gotta pack, going white water rafting in Fresno. Hey, I think Rachel
from the new Smile and Wave is from Fresno. Will post pictures when I come back.

Pat Osborne

I was fortunate enough to shoot Pat Osborne over the weekend. He's an animator for the Walt Disney Animation Studio. He is also a very talented painter.

Wood

Here are a few items I found on Etsy today. Wood seemed to be the inspiration and there were some clever things made out of it.

I got inspired by this home I found on Design*Sponge. It belongs to Shay Ometz. It's such a beautiful home, so bright, cheery and inviting. I think I would want my future home to look a lot like this.
There's something about the turquoise color that I love. It always brightens up a room. I love the little owl corner

Once

I recently have been obsessed with the movie "Once". It stars the singers Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. They sing that awesome song "Falling Slowly". I saw the movie a few weeks back and I haven't been able to stop listening to the soundtrack. I'm not a movie reviewer but I just thought the whole concept of the movie made sense along with the title. I don't want to give it away but I highly recommend that everyone should watch it.

Inspiration

Lately I have been a big fan of Mike Golding's photography. I found him on Flickr and I thought his images were amaaaaazing! He is based in London and considers himself an amateur photographer. Many of his images that he puts up become instantly my favorites. I hope to someday soon be as good a photographer that he is.
Isn't his work amazing? The colors, the light, the subject, everything in these images just leave me breathless. I could keep going with the images but I think that's enough for now.

Ponyo

Today I saw a movie called "Ponyo". It's about a fish who wishes to become a human. The animation and art is crazy amazing. Although the story ended up not what I expected, I still loved it and wouldn't mind seeing other animated films directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

My 4th of July Weekend

Here are a few pictures of my 4th of July weekend. It was pretty awesome..lots of food, ice cream, cupcakes (by me) and kettle chips, love kettle chips. I used to be so afraid of sparklers when I was a kid because I was always afraid of getting burned. I think I barely started playing with sparklers about 3 years ago (I'm 27 now) so yeah, I'm not afraid of fire or sparks anymore.

My crazy cousin Gabe
And my other crazy cousin, eric. I believe this may be one reason why I was so scared to play with these things. He'll blind himself!

Tan Lines

Right now I have the most awkward tan lines on my feet! They are caused by wearing flats with jeans everyday. I just bought these shoes from UO and they are my new favorites!! I really shouldn't wear them that often though, I need a tan all over my feet. Summer is here so I'll start working on it.
